Schools and the Freeze

On the government website over the past 12 hours there has been a statement that the schools are likely to remain closed on Friday. On Channelonline and on the 6.40 TV bulletin it says they are likely to open. At 6.45 am no change on gov.je other than schools are likely to remain closed.

Again we see the joined up thinking. First off, we have many parents who have unreasonable employers and have to find care for their children. Not knowing until 6.40 each morning is an added stress to the day. But, of course, there is no accountability. Secondly, why wasn't the government website update when Channel had already told us the schools were open.

At6.45am is it too much for someone to type the line in to the website or is it outside someone's working hours.
