A Little Bit Selfish

Maybe it is the constant negativity of Jersey that is getting to me. No one seems to have a good thing to say about what anyone else is doing. It is constant attrition in politics and life in business with everyone seemingly wanting to get one over on another person or describing how world class we are compared to someone else.
As long as they have bigger cars ,bigger houses, think nothing of anyone else everything will be fine! Hmm! again I think. It sounds more to me like a description of the beginning of a hell on earth. More like the story where everyone is gathered round the table and food is plentiful at a banquet but the handles of the spoons are too long and those having the meal have no ideas how to feed themselves but would not think of helping the others and would rather scorn those that do offer some charity.

The Jersey way today seems to be a lot about the self and little about society.
